methods for shopping over the Internet,
we know you're in a hurry so we'll keep
it to a few key recommendations.
1. Consider the rating before buying.
Most sites have a method for rating their
sellers. On eBay its a feedback rating,
on Yahoo it's a merchant rating. This is
particularly important when buying from
an individual.
2. Use a credit card or payment
service that will protect you if
something goes wrong. As long as the
page you are entering your credit card in
has encryption, we feel credit card is the
safest form of payment and in most
cases safer than using a credit card at
a restaurant.
3. Use something unique for your
password. Do not use the same ID
and Password for everything as
everything could be exposed it falls into
the wrong hands, and choose
passwords that are not obvious...don't
use a password that is the same as the
ID, or the word "Password", etc.
